2.1 Login

  • Click on “Register/Login” button to register or to login.
  • If you are a new user, click on “Register new as a” CONNECT PARTNER.
  • Fill all the mandatory fields as shown below.

  • In the screen above, there is a field for “Connect Type” select the role, “Insurance”. There is an option to choose multiple roles including Lab, Imaging and Pharmacy.
  • Click on “Sign Up” button to continue.
  • On successful registration, the message in the screen below displays.

  • An Email will be sent to your registered Email ID for account activation.

  • In order to activate your account you have to click on above shown URL.
  • Now reset your password, and confirm your password.

  • On successful password setting your account will be activated and you will able to see below screen.

2.2 Log In

  • On successful login, user will be redirected to Medcera Insurance dashboard.
  • Note that Lab Center display by Default on the dashboard.
  • Tap on “Lab” tab from the drop down and select “Insurance”. See the screen below for more details.

  • Below is Insurance Dashboard.

  • User logging in for the first time will have to fill out their further personal details by clicking on “Account Configuration” menuat the top right corner of your dashboard.
  • A click on profile drop-down menu displays the three options below.
  1. Account Configuration
  2. Change Password
  3. Logout
  • Click on “Account Configuration” from the drop down.

  • The page below will be displayed including Connect Partner’s personal information, PayPal Details, Bank details and Insurance Details.

  • Once you will fill all details, this message displays “Success account updated” as shown in below screen:

  • Clicking “Change Password” under the profile tab to change/reset password. Enter a new password, confirm the password and submit by clicking the ‘Submit’ button as shown below.

  • Click on “Log Out” from the drop-down menu to log out from your account as shown below.

  • The “Profile Configuration” on the dashboard is same as “Account Configuration” as shown above.
  • Note that the currency will be set according the country selected by user.
  • Click on “Insurance Plans” tab on the dashboard to add new plans, edit and view plans.
  • Patient can submit bills such as Fusion appointment charges, Lab charges and imaging charges to the insurance portal.
  •  Click on “Add Plans” button to add new insurance plan as shown below.

  • A click on “Insurance Plans” tab displays all the added plans as shown below. Note that only open plans will have edit option.

  • Click on “Add Plans” button to add new insurance plan as shown below.

  • Fill out the mandatory fields as shown above and click on “Submit Button” to complete the process.
  • Click on “Add Patient and Place Order” register patient and buy insurance plans on behalf of patient as shown below.

  • A click on “Next” button displays the screen below.

  • Click on “Next” button to be redirected to payment page that displays three payment options: PayPal, Bank Transfer and Cash.

  • Insurance company can place an order from your account on behalf of your patient who already have a Medcera patient account.
  • Click on “Search User & Place order” card from the dashboard to register an existing patient on Medcra as shown below:
  • In Dashboard there is “Search User and Place Order”where the one patient can buy only one insurance plan from insurance company at the time. If patient wants to buy multiple plans he/she have to buy from different different companies. Below is the screen of “Search User and Place Order”.
  • There are two type of search patient: Connect Patients and Medcera Patients
  • Connect Patients: Patients who are already enrolled with Medcera Insurance provider
  • Medcera Patients: Patients who are already enrolled with other Insurance providers on Medcera platform.

  • A click on “Search User & Place Order” button displays the screen below.

  • Enter the “Patient Code” to view the screen below.

  • Patients that have already purchased insurance plans, their existing plans show in “Enrolled Plans”.
  • If the patient has not purchased any insurance plan, it will show multiple plans with radio button.
  • Click on “view” button to view insurance plans details as shown below.
  • Click on “Pending Request” tab on the dashboard to all pending bill order.
  • Patient can request for transaction which are completed (i.e. Request can be made for all the payments which have been approved by admin, fusion and connect)

  • A click on “View” button to view the screen below.

  • See Bank Transfer screen below.

  • Below is the screen for pharmacy reports

  • Amount requested for Refund: This is the amount patient has requested to be refunded by Medcera Insurance provider.
  • Payable Amount: When patient wants to buy insurance plan, a certain percentage is selected for refundable. The percentage will be deducted from the Amount requested for Refund and patient get the balance as payable amount.
  • Remaining Amount in Policy: This is the amount left in your Insurance policy cover after the refund amount is paid by Insurance provider.
  • Paid Amount: This is the past refund amount with the paid date.
  • Total Already Paid Amount: It shows previous paid amount.
  • In the dashboard, you will see “Completed Refund”which shows the list of patients who are paying premium on time.

  • After clicking on “view” you will get insurance details as shown below:

  • Click on “Rejected Refund” tab on the dashboard to view rejected refund request by insurance provider.

  • A click on “view” button displays the screen below.

  • Click on “Payment Reconciliation” to view the two reconciliation portals as seen below.
  • Patient Portal : This displays insurance plans which have been purchased from patient portal
  • Premium reconciliation will be shown.

  • Direct Portal: This shows Insurance Plans which purchased from Medcera Portal.
  • Total Reconciliation: This is the sum total of payments made through  Patient Portal and Direct portal.

  • Click on “Approve Bank Transfer” tab on the dashboard to view bank transfer details.
  • If patient opts to pay premium using bank transfer option and order has been placed by insurance provider, insurance provider will upload the receipt.

  • Below is the screen to approve the bank transfer.

  • Click on “approve” button to complete the process shown below.

  • Click on “Approve PayPal Transfer” to view paypal transfer details.
  • If the patient is buying Insurance plan or placing order from insurance portal, first premium will be decided by insurance portal.

  • Approve PayPal Payment: This is the payment going to connect direct order placed from Connect Partner.
  • A click on “payment” takes patient to Me link(This link will be generated from Account Configuration)
  • Click on PayPal. Me to receive activation link via email.  Upon accounts activation, a transaction ID will be generated.
  • Click on “Task” Card from the sidebar menu of the dashboard to view task records as shown below.
  • The task types are defined by Admin and Insurance Provider.
  • All tasks show the list of tasks assign by a user to another including admin and insurance provider.

  • Click on “New Task” to add a new task as shown below.

  • Click on “Messages” tab on the dashboard to send messages to multiple users.

  • Click on “add new or compose” to send a message as shown below.

  • Click on “Sent Item” to view sent Messages.
  • “Message has been sent successfully”will be displayed at the top of the screen.
  • A click on“Policy Members” displays list of patients who have bought insurance policy and are paying premium.

  • Click on “view” to see the page below.
  • In Dashboard you will see “Pending Request” where you will see all pending bill order.
  • Here the patient can request for transaction which are completed (i.e. Request can be done for all the payment which have been approved by admin, fusion or connect)

  • Once you tab “View” button you will get below screen:

  • Below is the screen for Pay for Approve i.e. Bank Transfer

  • Below is the screen for pharmacy reports:

  • To Create an Address book click on “Address Book” in the side bar on the dashboard.
  • A click on “address book” displays the screen below.
  • There are two types of Address Book: Normal Address Book and Group Address Book as shown below.

  • Click on “Normal Address” to add details in the address book as shown below.

  • After adding the address, this message pop up “Contact is Successfully Added”
  • Insurance provider can categorize various Addresses in a Group in order to allocate a specific category to specific classifications especially when the list includes multiple records.   
  • Group of different categories will be shown. Each category includes a list of specific Addresses.
  • Click on “Add” button to add another address in the list or “Remove All Members” to delete the records.
  • The address can be viewed, Edited, or deleted as per requirements.

  • The “News” Card enables Medcera admin to post news related to Medcera and Health related news as seen below.

  • A clicking on the search symbol displays the screen below.
